Main room

Jo Med

I made a rather elegant bed and from that evolved this whole house. I had a picture in my mind of this bed in a large room with a log fire blazing and a christmas tree. This is my interpretation of that room.

Great Alexander, I'll remember that and pm you when I get to the other room as I'm struggling to find authentic looking russian accessories. I have bought an urn which I will hopefully turn into a samovar - if the drill doesn't break it.

Holy Moly. I am speechless. And even though it is warm where I am, I still want to curl up on that floor with a blanket and a good book, and when I am drowsy, have the best night's sleep EVER in that glorious masterpiece of a bed.

Thanks everyone.

Janet, this has taken me a few weeks now and its only one room. Maybe it just seems fast but even this room still needs the skirting boards installing and the ceiling fixing and the fireplace isn't glued in yet. Had a bit of a last minute spurt as I'm going away for a couple of weeks and won't be able to do much until after Christmas.
