Diagon Alley 088.JPG

madhatter

Paper Clay, Egg Cartons, Spackle, and found objects all went into this project. The base is made from thin wood that I recycled from work, this also made the extension for the quill shop.

The lazer cut kits were great to use for parts, juice box's made my rain gutters and all the other features were either made by me or are from a kit. I was lucky and did not buy any furniture for the kit.

Only lots and lots of trim, a fortune in trim.!!!!!!! Each piece of trim has been drilled and filled with dowels. The flooring is all popcycle sticks witch too have all been drilled. Though on the floor I did not fill the holes I let the stain do that.

I absolutely love what you did with this kit. The exterior is wonderful, aged and so realistic. The inside is stunning, all the details...

I love you photography as well

This whole thing is wonderful - so detailed, so realistic, and so true to the books.

I can't believe that you did all of this in the time allotted. You're amazing!

This is great! I love anything Harry Potter and really like what you've done with your Fling, especially the way you've split the buildings yet kept them part of a coherent scene.

All I had to see was a HP reference and I knew I'd love it - it's really amazing! I love the differnt angle you chose in order to give it an actual 'alley' looking walkway. The details are great!
