Thank you! Sadly it was half dried before I finished last night, so watercolor while wet is out. I think I'm going to use the acrylic I used on the rest of the castle although I'm tempted to try chalk first.

Looks great! I always use watered down acrylic on my dried paper clay, works great. Small cup of water, several drops of paint until it's the desired color. I start with a gray wash and it just runs into all the grooves for grout, then several other washes of color for the stones.

Cool!!! Thanks! I will try to finish the scroll work tonight and most likely paint tomorrow. I've been trying to work out the paint in my head. Is the clay very absorbent?

Thanks! I just finished. I don't know if I'm madly in love with it. It dries really fast and it keeps coming apart. Hopefully it will stay together long enough to be glued onto all of my plastic layers. I'm wondering if I made my designs to thin and that's why they keep pulling away from each other. Tomorrow I'll play with paint.
