KathieB
The National Building Museum in America, is taking on a contemporary twist to the ‘Small Stories: At home In A Doll’s House’ exhibition - by featuring a One-of-a-Kind, ‘Dream House’ Installation. These miniature interiors, will bring the long history of the dollhouse full circle to the present day, showcasing the realities and escapist fantasies of dollhouse play. Artists were given the freedom to explore past, present or future for their tiny world, and their three-dimensional room could take the form of any space in the house. The 15-inch-square miniature-sized displays, range from the aspirational and whimsical, to the fantastical, technological and practical. Small Stories: At Home in a Dollhouse, will remain on display until January 22, next year. See a few of the displays here.

Farmermarketminifood
So wish I could see the show in person! Has anyone been to the Museum of Toys and Miniatures in Kansas City, on the UMKC campus? I was there last fall and thought it was wonderful. Well worth the trip if you are in the Midwest.
