wfwhitson
I bought this shell off Criag's List. It has James Hansen, Portland, OR # 1078140 ingraved on underside. Thanks Walt
fov
Argh, I feel like I saw this recently but don't remember where. It might have been in one of the 1980s Nutshell News issues I bought from another member here. If I come across it I'll let you know. rodentraiser
I doubt that's a Clell Boyce house, especially as it's signed underneath with another name, but I'm wondering if it's someone who worked at the same company, Victorian Times Miniatures, especially since that company was also based in Portland. What I think is fascinating is the wood. If you look at the CustomeShell3 picture, you can see a diamond pattern in the raw wood there on the side. Both of my Clell Boyce houses are covered with those. I don't know if it's because of the wood up in the Portland area or if it's because of the wood that was used by Victorian TImes Miniatures. But I thought that was kind of interesting.
LPCullen
Looks like a Dura-craft Victorian mansion to me.
Crabbygirl13
This looks so much like the Mary Godell house. I've always wanted this house. :-) I have pics of it if you'd like to see. I know this post is a couple of years old.
Cheverly
Yes, it does look very similar to my Dura-Craft VM800, without the balcony or shingles on the gables and with a few extra window holes cut in here and there. The inside rooms have been altered, as well as the roof line on the back. If I had to guess, I'd say someone liked the Dura-Craft but didn't want to shell out the money for the kit so they built their own from plywood? OR maybe they liked it but wanted to change the footprint dramatically.
DarlingMini
Looks like a simplified Queen Anne II from Real Good Toys, but not quite...
