Adding on to a Willowcrest

Just One More

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever added a side room next to what would usually be the kitchen in the Willowcrest? I've been looking at this house for a long time and always thought the kitchen was too small. If a side room was added where the bay window is it wouldn't be too difficult. Then the small area next to the living room could be a small dining room and the added room could be the kitchen. I don't think I've seen any pictures in the gallery like this. I have so much scrap wood I could use to do this. I haven't built anything in ages and would like to get back to working on something. I'd also leave out the chimney since it's not connected to where the fireplaces go anyway. If I do this I have no idea how to upload pics in the new format but I guess I'll eventually figure it out.

Sounds like you will be our brave pioneer! :D Do you have any cardboard boxes around? You could cut out some mockup walls and tape it all together to see how it looks.

As for adding pics, go to the gallery tab. Near the top right there will be a link to upload. You can pick an existing album or create a new one.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. :)

Bluebear, I replied to your post and don't know where it went with this new format. I saved the pics in my favorites. That's exactly what I had in mind so hope it works for me when I get my Willowcrest. I guess I left my other post on the blog. This is too much like Facebook now and I never could figure that out.
