I love the look of copper in the kitchen! I made the extractor fan out of wood and used something called metal sheeting (a very very thin metal sheet) to cover the wood. I bought it from a card shop and I think it is used for embossing? Maybe I'm wrong but the problem is because the metal is so thin it tends to mark very easily andyou have to be really careful when handling it so it doesn't dent (almost impossible to do hehe).
