doogster
As promised, here's the USCSS Nostromo as it comes out of the box: The second pic is the parts, the bag contains smaller parts such as the flaps that surround the engine bells, the probes and landing gear are in the box (not shown) attached to a bunch of flash. The first pic shows the rough orientation of the major parts:
havanaholly
As often as I've watched "Alien" I could never get a really good look at the Nostromo. Thanks, Andrew. I can't wait to see the way it goes together.

I does kinda make ya think about "Alien" Can you picture something like that hovering over your house?

doogster
Thanks for the feedback. Found the zinc primer, not decided if I'm going to go that way. Think I might find a similar colour in acrylic, it thins down great with Future (it does have to be Future) (Klear) which I'm used to spraying, and quite frankly once you've gone airbrush there aint no going back. And this should be panel detailed, as in panels of different tints and tones of gray all over, and extensive but subtle, weathering. Lots to do before painting, Mr Clean will be on the job soon, get any mold release off, then sanding down seams, a little mold mismatch on some of the solid parts. Overall impressed with the kit. Here's the thing from the front, BTW, the 1-2-3- box the fuse is sitting on is too tall, the engines will be more in line. For some reason the board won't let me attach the photo. I tried 4 times.
