havanaholly
I make toys other than minis, and one year my supervisor asked me to make a yellow duckling for one of her daughters and then she decided she wanted a momma duck, too so I wound up making two:
maresiedotes
Those ducks are wonderful! What material are they made out of? It's hard to tell from the photos...but boy are they cute! You're a woman of multiple talents, Holly!
havanaholly
Ooops, sorry about that, they're made from craft felt and stuffed with polyester fiberfill, the feet are reinforced with stitching and the "toes" are done in trapunto using yarn lengths. The eyes are sequins & beads. I drew up the patterns freehand.

havanaholly
When they were little I made my kids a set of stuffed dinosaurs once from some patterns in an old women's magazine, along with various other stuffed critters including a huge ol' corduroy teddy bear that was literally loved to rags!
