mlvenan
So, I had a quick question. The instructions say to paint the railing pieces before assembly. Is that the correct way to do it, or is it easier to assemble then paint? Thanks! -M
fantail
I painted mine before AND after I put it together. Changed my mind on the colors, so painted the rails just the other day. I would definately paint before if it is to be different colors. I had a lot of touch ups after! annie
havanaholly
Definitely before, if you're going for the Painted Lady look, unless you have an extremely steady hand and know at least as many *magic* words as I do.
Audra
I had my railings in my Princess Anne all white. I put them together, then spray painted them. Very thin coats though.
