The Heart Arbor begins its transformation.

After the delight of assembling the Heart Arbor, I began the laborious process of covering it in paperclay. This is my first venture into paperclay, and I found it easy and fun to use. I scribed bark lines into the clay before it hardened - silly me, every little line I put in was so carefully considered - now of course, the individual lines aren't important, it's the overall effect that counts. I spent far too long agonizing over every little thing I did! (Obsessive compulsive? Perfectionist? Me?) Luckily, the Heart Arbor enjoyed all the attention and love I lavished on it!
