From benches to cradle

I joined the benches with a piece from the kit on each side, using the notches supplied for the bench supports. Actually, I think it was the bench support pieces that I used! They fit from bench to bench perfectly. I cut a piece of basswood to fill in the gap between the benches, as a base for the "mattress" of leaves and petals still to come. A couple of longer pieces from the kit (from the lattice) made side rails for the "cradle".
