Could you reverse the rectangular shelf and sink, put the tub on that wall, move the wall over and put the corner cupboard there in the new corner instead?

That just might work , getting way ahead of myself , but it is so much fun!

I love the little crocheted scarf by the tub. It's too pretty to step on after getting out of the tub, but it looks so nice in the room.

Thanks , that's a little doily I picked up somewhere - I dyed some to use as rugs.

Could you putthe towels in it insted and lose the shelving unit?

Yes ! That's a great idea , thanks! Hadn't thought of that , I can give the shelves a coat of paint and use them somewhere else.
