Garfield 1st floor fireplace

I used the base fireplace kit but then embellished it with more wood and beads and stained it. The original was just too plain and I wanted to make it look a bit heavier and much more ornate. I also added a basswood back and then used mini bricks and mortar. I added some smudged charcoal to the back and floor to make it appear that it had been used. You can see the wood logs in the crate and the brass Victorian screen that I will use.
