Garfield KitchenDoor

Creamcheese

This is a view of where the French door will go for the kitchen entrance. I had to cut the door frame and will add a piece of wood but right now it fits and will open to the inside of the kitchen. In the rear is the transom window and little bathroom door that I made. I just leaned it up here to take a photo of it but it will go upstairs on the 2nd floor. Those of you that have already built the Garfield know how small the original kitchen door was and I wanted to add more light and a better view into the kitchen. The single French door is more interesting and will let lots more light into this area. The kitchen will have brick flooring in the basket weave pattern and will continue on the porch. I did the same brick pattern in the SF 2012 last year. That was my very first build so I learned a lot when I did that!
