roses painting for the bdroom

I havent given up yet.. trying to teach myself to paint roses...I like the one on the right, but the one on the left maybe looks more crysanthemum~ish...well, I really like the background anyway lol...and I painted the frame to kind of match the background in the painting, which also blends well with the bedroom palette. Im trying to find my style I think, if any real painters see this and want to give me a few tips please feel free, I would very much appreciate it:-)

I had a really rough day at work today.... seeing this is so peaceful and relaxing it just made me smile.... thanks for sharing... it took some of the days stress off.... (oh... and by the way... I think you are finding your style wonderfully... the painting is gorgeous)

thanks Cynthia... I work for probation so some days can be a bit trying.... ah well... I find my relaxation by coming here and looking at everyone's wonderful work, and reading about everyone's mini day :)

I think Karin is an amazing artist.... her style soothes my soul :)

Thank you both, Kelly so sorry you had a trying day and so honored by your kind words...thank Goodness we all have eachother. I didnt know that was what you did for a job, I can just imagine how hard that could be at times. Your encouragement means a lot to me, and to many others too Im sure. Big hugs my friend:-)
