The roof on this build really had me spinning in circles for days. Thankfully Holly suggested "metal" and that made the light bulb go off. I Googled "Faux Copper Verdigris" and found several tutorials on how to make this work. I am pretty proud of the results.... I liked it so much I have since used this technique on the roof of my Rosedale and on my bashed Buttercup.
