Parlor window finishing

otterine

I already had the front window trim painted and ready to install. Once the trim was glued in place, I filled in any gaps, touched up the paint and added a window pull. I plan to add some drapery to this window, but it already looks so much more realistic. I think Miss Kitty approves. :D

Thanks! Apparently Miss Kitty and I were both tired since we didn't realize I put the handle on the trim and not the sliding window. I'll have to move that up.

Such attention to detail! I would have never noticed it's in the wrong place! I love the plugged in lamp. Can you actually unplug it or does the wire just go through underneath to tape wire?

Thank you! I didn't even notice it since I didn't try to open the window...someone mentioned it on my blog.

For electric, I use the hardwiring method. The outlet and plug are only for show. The wire drops down into the cellar area and out the back of the house.
