Porte Cochere

I really like the carved detail on the porch floor edges.

Thanks Kathy, this was a stray bit of trim that my local dollhouse shop had in stock so I thought I'd give it a go. It needs darkening down a bit though.

Thank you for the lovely comments. Yes I designed the door myself. The kit just has 2 archways in the ground floor as its originally a gatehouse kit so I made 2 doors and trims for the arches - back and front although only the front one is decorative. The back door is quite plain.

The kit doesn't come with a porte cochere, that bits scratch built.
