I like the idea of 'drape free' windows. I always have. At our home most of the windows are without drapes, simply because Zeb and I are both asthmatic and allergic to dust . But some of the most beautiful windows I've ever seen are just decorated with a swag or cornice. What a lovely room this is!

Thanks, Merri! I like it without the drapes, too, but I just wasn't sure if the cornice looked too small/short for the window.
