Tudor Balusters

My first attempt at wrought iron balusters. They aren't as uniform as I would like, but I think they aren't too out of sync.

No solder this time. I was certain that the close proximity would cause problems. As I heated each contact point the previous would most likely pop loose or melt off, so I used epoxy. The first insert assembled perfectly. The second one has just fallen apart 3 times, but I think this last attempt will hold.

I came home from work this week to discover that my DD #2 (still 2 years old) had climbed up onto the house, yanked out this banister and the one on the 1st floor, and demolished them.  She has broken doors, windows, tiles, curtains (the list goes on), etc.  It will be a few years before I can finally get this house back to the way it was before RL got in the way.
