The ground floor is in, inspected and ready for walls! This thing keeps growing the more I play with it so I need to stop now! The final dimensions (I hope?) are 43" wide by 24" deep. The height is still up for debate but I'm guessing it will be somewhere just over 40". I've decided to jack up the ceilings from 9 5/8" to true 11" to accomodate the crown molding and transoms I want to put in.

For those of you who may need inspection services of your own, may I recommend one very diligent parrot for the job...my sweet Gryphon stopped by to check the level on my floor and ensure the future residents were living in a house built to code - well, parrot code at least!

Funnnnny!! Rules here though are I don't play on the 8 birds cages nor playgyms and they can't play on my furniture, floor or anything else......

My daughters cag says 'scoot over' when the cage is opened so food can be put in. She is a hoot. 'Shadow' is her name.

Aww, how cute, Linda! Yes, Gryph and his sister (Seraph) are a bit spoiled, they think they own the real life house, the furniture and us people that go with it. Why not the miniature one too? :ohyeah: They keep us honest though, you can't hide -anything- from a CAG!
