First attempt at hand painting furniture. This was a cream and gold piece I bought from a show some time ago. I wasn't too keen on the finish but I liked the shape of it so I scraped it all back to the bare wood and thought I'd have a go at hand painting a design. Nothing fancy, just a simple design of flowers but I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out. The seat on top is deep buttoned but I must get better at french knots, its a bit bobbly - like sitting on rocks for tiny bottoms - lol.

Love the colors, flowers are perfect. Id love to try something like this.With the color palette, it would look beautiful full of white accessories.
