Parlor fireplace

I made a fireplace for the parlor inspired by the Lawbre Gothic fireplace. Even if my beer budget matched my champagne taste, the Lawbre fireplace would be too large for the Heritage, so I made my own interpretation. I used a foam core board base, strip wood and laser cut trims. I made mine smaller and eliminated some of the details from the original. I have plans for those two open areas as well as plans for either a stone or marble finish. There will be a firebox that sets into the chimney, so the hob grate will sit back further than shown here.
