Just One More 101 Posted March 19, 2011 That is such a nice house. The rooms are all good size. The stairs are very nice. It needs work with the peeling wallpaper etc but you could find appropriate replacements without taking away from the overall look of the house. The front is really nice also. That should be a lot of fun to bring it back to how it was years ago. Quote Link to comment

Scotty 6 Posted March 22, 2011 Thanks to everyone for your comments on this house. I know that with vintage houses you need to preserve as much as possible but I just couldn't live with the rotten stuff - it had to go. Still it's only the wallpapers, flooring and wiring that have gone so I think I can recreate something in keeping with the house but a whole lot pleasanter. I've found someone who can scan bits of wallpaper into whole sheets so I have scraps of borders and the bathroom paper to be recreated. Quote Link to comment
jbnmini 2,063 Posted March 22, 2011 Such an absolutely wonderful house! I love the stairs, and the charming bathroom door, and the delightful furniture! Such a treasure!I know that Jennifer's Printies has period wallpaper that would work well for this house. We will enjoy watching this little beauty come back to life! Quote Link to comment
