In the "morning room" I would like to give a more "homey" atmosphere. This is the room that the owner of the manor(an Edwardian spinster the honorable Lady Violette) spends most of her time reading, writing her letters and listening BBC programs from her new radio accompanied by her dog "Byron." Plants, books, shells and photograhs make this room warm and cozy.

You did a good job making this room feel warm and comfy! The wood is beautiful and I love the soft blue color. I could curl up in that chair and read a book right now!

It IS cozy!! I would put a palm tree/plant at the left side of the stairs next to the radio.

OR you could leave it as perfect as it already is!!
