new exterior stairs

OMG what cute little stairs! I used to live in a house like this, when I was in college. I love how you've done the bay window in the solid blue, too.

The whole project is gorgeous! You obviously put in a LOT of work on this. I'm currently rehabbing a Beacon Hill and sometimes think it would have just been easier to buy a kit and start from scratch. Love the exterior color, just really pretty.

That exterior color is called "Inspired"- I thought it quite appropriate. I think it is Behr paint - have to check. One of our local hardware stores was closing out these little sample bottles of all the paint colors so I took the opportunity to expand my paints- it only took 1 1/2 bottles to do the entire exterior of this house so now I have a bunch to choose from, and at 50 cents each it is a much happier than having to buy a quart at $13. And the paint is really good- nice eggshell finish. The house hed been repainted by the previous owner with craft paint- ick.- it was powdering off everywhere.
