Kitchen sink (2)

otterine

Alas, the first sink is no more. <img src="http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> The gloss varnish cracked and yellowed once dry. So, I made this replacement using a different finishing glaze. The finish turned out like porcelain again, though the glaze was definitely thick and not easy to use. I am pleased with the second sink but disappointed that the varnish I had used ruined the first. Crisis averted! <img src="http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Incredible that wood and paint can create a porcelain effect like this.

It looks so real.

Your kitchen is just gorgeous, and I really like the doorhandles.

Ester.
