Master bedroom

Jo Med

Can't get to the house right now because we have decorating work going on so I've busied myself with a spot of bed dressing. I have nothing but the utmost respect for those of you, Debs, Natalie and many others who dress beds so beautifully. I originally thought that the easiest thing to make would be a cushion - wrong - not for me its not. My cushions come out different sizes, the wrong shape, frayed on the edges - you name it and I've got a cushion like it. Eventually I have a few that pass muster and actually look nice on the beds but it isn't easy. Maybe I'm trying to be too elaborate or using the wrong fabrics - going to keep practising though because a bed needs a cushion - right?

Thanks Linda, glad you like it.

PS I know you are good at everything to do with miniatures - you came second in the Spring Fling with an amazing piece of work and the Beacon Hill - well enough said so I'm betting your beds will be just fab.

I still need to learn a lot about dressing beds, but yours look really great.

I love the colours on this bed. It looks very cosy.
