Love seeing the progress you make, I also have a garfield but still sits in box with only the base completed. This is a huge house and careful planning I must do before going any further. Seeing yours come together has been a real inspiration, its looking wonderful, can't wait to see more!!

I am glad that people watch my progress as I think that's what this site is all about. Sharing successes and misfortunes equally because publishing mistakes will hopefully prevent someone else making the same ones.

I'm happy with the way things are going at the moment but that doesn't mean to say that if I had another Garfield, I would tackle it in the same way. Its a big house with many challenges - the conflict between build, electrify and decorate - and in what order, being the main one in my opinion because of its unique shape. Yes Jaime, planning is the key to a successful Garfield and although I planned and re planned, I didn't have enough experience to plan for all the challenges and I have had to tackle each as they manifested themselves. Great fun nevertheless.
