Front Porch

Jo Med

I paved the front porch area, the grout still needs to be cleaned up a little but I like the overall effect. I ran out of tiles when I was halfway down the side of the house so I dashed out to my local DH shop, and they had run out too - so gotta wait a while to finish it off.

will you be adding the railing that comes with the kit?

Glad you both like it.

Yes I will be adding the porch railings that come with the kit, not sure what clour to paint them yet, maybe a mixture of white rails and grey posts.

Incredible! I looooove the tiles. I looked at the picture at least four or five times before I noticed the little sign.

Jo, where did you get the rounded posts that you used at the intersecting edges of the tower wall? The ones I've seen are all squared off at the bottom, not rounded all the way as here. I can't tell you how much time I spent filling in that area (with my stucco paint)!!!

Hi Mandy, sorry for the delayed response, only just seen these comments - don't get notified any more.

I used stair spindles.
