My door mock-up

Here is my first attempt at making this door. I used two pieces cut from a sheet of 1/32 basswood, then glued to the kit door with wood glue, then sanded lightly. The resulting door is too thick for me to add two more sheets on the back side, so for the real doors, I will use 5 pieces of basswood instead of the kit door- 2 carved pieces on each side, and a plain sheet in the middle. I also need to be more precise in my cutting, but I did this one on a folding tray in a semi-dark room while watching television, so I hope I can do better on the real one!
