Elsbeth

I like collecting 1/12th scale dolls even if they don't inhabit my houses at all times...so I thought I'd take some "family portraits" of my two sets. I've pieced these together - and you can see the number of women outweigh the men - that's because it's really hard to find a proper man-doll for the dollhouse scene. Oh well.

Directly behind the Widow Winthrop is her son (don't they look alike?) and his wife, their children, and then the rest are his sisters, the cook, and Mr Holmes - a fellow I hope to pair up with one of the sisters. And of course, the widow's beloved dog was given his very own chair for the photo session.

I wonder if the dog will inherit everything?

Oh the intrigue.

I notice from the photos that these families of mine are all centered around one aging matriarch.

Hmmmm. What does that mean?

I love the family photo!!

(yep, I'm betting on the dog inheriting the whole kit 'n' kaboodle  )

I agree about the dog being the sole benefactor considering that he/she is the only one 'sitting' on a chair while all the people (including the matriarch) are standing. Lucky dog.

And I love the picture.
