Tower corners

heartnsoule

I had to figure out a way to disguise the corners of the trim on this tower--my angle cutting left a lot to be desired!! I tend to eyeball a lot of things, including my angle cuts, and the result is messy corners. But I had a flash of inspiration yesterday...I had a silver paper doily, which I painted with gold enamel, trimmed out some of the shapes, and glued them to cover the corners.

I'm very happy with how it turned out, now I just have to finish painting the tower finial and shingling the roof ridge, and the exterior will be done!
