Redoing an old house is a challenge, but something that means this much must be heartwarming to work on.

It really is. It's a good feeling to finally bring this house to life.

How did you go about removing the siding? I just found a dollhouse by the curb, and have already decided the siding has to go, might need new shingles, and need to remove the wallpaper.

A member suggested vinegar and water for the wallpaper, which I'll be giving a try. My big question is how to remove old paint.

P.S. I've been following your build for over an hour, and you are quite an inspiration with your creativity. Most excellent work! 😄

Thank you!! That is so sweet, I'm glad you've enjoyed following along. The siding was not easy! I used a small chisel and a small hammer and nicked away at it. In particularly stubborn areas I used a heat gun to try and loosen the old glue.

Can't wait to see what you do with your house!
