window1.jpg

This is the first window I've ever built. I cut the window from Cricut Maker. It took a long time and many errors to finally get all 16 windows cut. I aged the wood first, then used a chipped paint technique to age them. The plexiglas is coated with clear Gallery Glass to give an old leaded window effect and covered with a layer of "grime". The handles are jewelry findings painted with iron paint. I would have attempted to make them operate but the plexiglass I used is a bit too thick and there isn't enough wood space to use a pin.

Wonderful!!

What did you use for that amazing plaster texture?

Thank you. I used plaster of Paris.
