Excellent texture. What prompted you to coat with super glue and baking soda?

I got the idea from Heather Tracey. It hardens it into something close to wood.

Looks fantastic!   Superglue and I have a love/hate relationship, how exactly did you coat it?   Did you squeeze it on and then brush it quickly to evenly spread it?

Thank you!

My favorite super glue is Star Bond, and yes, drop a little on, and I used old hotel room card, cut up, to spread it over the piece. When one side dries I turn it over and do the other side. For things like card stock, where I want a little extra sturdiness or texture, I sprinkle baking soda, very lightly, on the glue.

My husband travels a lot for work, so he brings me his hotel cards. I have a basket full!
