Congratulations Jodi! My grandmother had a very similar life size equivalent in her backyard when i was growing up. Yours is simply charming!

Thanks Scott - It is for my mother in law for Mothers Day this year. She lives on a really old farm in a really old farm house and she is just so creative with the things she does to her garden. I tried to capture a little of her creativity in the project for her.

I'm sure she will be delighted.  It really is charming.  I love all the little details--the radio, the mug of coffee, the little cow statue!  I'm not a gardener, but I would happy to potter away in there for hours!  And how clever to make the battery box into an electric meter.

Very sweet. I'm sure she will be thrilled with the gift. What I like about hand made gifts is that the whole time I am working on the gift, the intended recipient is in my thoughts. It truly is a labor of love!

That is so true, Carrie! I seem to make a lot of projects for friends and family. Just imagining how loved they'll feel and how they'll marvel at the tiny treasures is rocket fuel! Plus, I get to visit but don't have to store them in my already very full of miniature projects home!

Thanks Deborah - Brae made some little cow cookies that I'll put on a plate and add to the table. Since her name is Elsie, my mother in law loves Elsie The Borden Cow stuff and anything with cows really.
