WyckedWood

"Studio" sounds fancier than craft room, so that's what Im going to call it :-) This picture is from the real estate listing. The other two walls that you cant see in this photo are dark wood paneling. To the right of the sliding glass door, in what looks like a closet, is an unfinished dry sauna. This was meant to be some sort of rec room and was an addition to the original house. A pool (that never materialized) was planned by first owners. The space has pros and cons but the biggest pro by far is the natural light coming from 3 windows and two big sliders. Ive already removed all of the blinds, theres no need for them since the backyard is very private with tall mature trees, Colorado spruce, maple, hemlock (fairies will love that), and mimosa (yummy, cant wait for that to bloom!). I might hang some curtains down the road, when winter comes back around.. I prefer curtains or drapes to blinds.

This is a wonderful, open and spacious area. I'm so happy for you that you will have a dedicated place just for you. Love the views out those wonderful windows. That will be great inspiration for you.
