San Franciscan SF550 Instructions

Hello everyone,

I'm totally out of my element here! Someone gave me this model because they knew I build models, but I build ships! (http://members.dslextreme.com/users/flyingcloud/)

I can't even compare the two and am afraid I might not be able to handle it. Unfortunately although the kit seems complete, it came with no instructions.

Please for give for "mooching" so early, but this seemed like the only place to go. If anyone has a copy of the instructions, I'd be very grateful. Maybe they will help me decide if I should jump in, or stick to my boats!

Thanks everyone, and by the way, this is a very nice website/forum. I love being surrounded by so many ladies!

Welcome, Eddie, and please go to the Newcomers' forum & introduce yourself over there, too. And Ed-Cal, Glen, Greg, Peter, Peter, Dave, Dean, Andrew, Dan, Cory, Steve and all the rest of the guys can welcome you, too.

If you build wooden ships it's probably going to be easier for you to segue to a sooden dollhouse kit because the scale is a lot larger. A lot of people are building the different versions of Dura-Craft's San Franciscan, perhaps someone who has finished the 550 or 555 can help you with their instructions.

Thanks to you all for the offers and suggestions. I would appreciate any kind of instructions that would be helpful in building the 550. I want to know what it's like and what I might be getting into.

Thanks again.

Eddie
