PeachyKeen
Does anyone watch the Gilmore Girls? They feature a dollhouse (are a few couple of dollhouses...starting in Season 1 or 2 and then in season 6) I was wondering if it is a Greenleaf dollhouse? I REALLY REALLY want to buy it...I've never had a dollhouse but that one is soo beautiful that it has inspired me to purchase a dollhouse. Either that VERY same one....but I am also interested in dollhouses in general. I have always liked them, just never taken the time to immerse myself in them...now I am developing an interest in them. I think they are GREAT!! So, if anyone has any information please let me know! A link, store name, catalog anything at all! Thanks in advance  ;)
jennybee
Hello Back in this link someone mentioned that it looked like a pair of bashed Georgetowns.
queenannediva
As far as a kit goes, the Bostonian by Real Good Toys, although it does not have the turret, is probably as close as you are going to get. Otherwise, it would have to be a custom or bash job. Valerie
Minis On The Edge
It's so cool that dollhouses are being shown more and more in movies
mini-bookwyrm
I watch the Gilmore Girls too, sometimes. I didn't see the dollhouse until this posting, but I got curious and I think I found it. The bad news is, they aren't made anymore. The website www.blohmdesign.com has a picture of it undecorated. It looks like there is an add-on in the Gilmore Girls house, but it's called the Medford House and it was made by the Dollhouse Manufacturing Company of NY, which is no longer in business. if you go to www.blohmdesign.com/Restoring-a-Dollhouse-1.asp, you should be able to see it. I'll set up the link, but am not sure it will work. Medford I think this will get you there. I would like to build it as well - I'm definetly going to check ebay

LoreleiLeigh
Hey! I know this topic is 'old' but I love "Gilmore girls," it's been off the air for a year but it's still my favorite show. I joined this site's forum to find out just about the dollhouse. I have always loved dollhouses but never thought about getting into it myself and once I saw the one in GG I was especially hooked. I am so glad to have discovered this site! Anyhow, I'll probably post again...introduce myself in some beginners' thread or inquire about the dollhouse in my own thread...but for now I think I have found some additional pics of the house. Hopefully, someone will have some new info on it? Ok, here are my pics: http://www.homeofthenutty.com/gilmoregirls...m=6&pos=823 http://www.homeofthenutty.com/gilmoregirls...m=6&pos=879 http://www.gilmoregirls.org/screencaps/episode709/215.jpg Thanks!
