Glencroft window

I have an issue. One set of the window frames completely fell apart when I was carefully trying to remove them from the board. I'm not sure what to use to make new frames and how to cut them out? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Mine crumbled in bits, so I kept gluing them back together.  If they are totally self-destructing, invest in sheets of 1/8" basswood and trace around the punch-outs to make new ones.

Parts that are cosmetic rather than structural (like window trim) can be replicated in matte board or other types of cardboard cut to the shape and layered to achieve the 1/8" thickness. When painted, the cardboard replica looks just like its wooden cousins.
