peggyquade Posted October 12, 2006 Author Share Posted October 12, 2006 For the siding, I had strips of wood that were 1/2" wide by 1/16" thick...I lapped them over each other about 1/16". The owner of the Pierce, Sheila, wants to paint it several colors so my next job is to paint the whole house white so she has a blank canvas for all her colors. I think one of the main colors is going to be a smoky blue. This was actually Sheila's mom's house. Sheila bought the kit for her mom about 10 years ago; her mom got it 90% complete and then suddenly died of cancer so it's been sitting since then. But the blue was picked out by her mom so Sheila wants to definitely use that color on the house, but she's got several other colors as well.
