Luanne
Just came across this. There are classes for 1:144 scale! Have you taken any classes from here? http://www.igma.org/guild_school/classes_instructors.html
Selkie
I think Brandan from the NO area went this past summer. Here is a link to his album from that time. You could send out a PM for more info.
Luanne
the baskets are awesome! I didnot know that there is a school for miniatures. This is so neat. A reason to consider to visit Maine.
MicroJivvy
I've been to the summer program (in Castine, Maine) twice -- AWESOME. Both times I took silver classes with Pete Acquisto (there were no 1/144 classes at the time). Nell Corkin (instructor for the 1/144 class) is also AWESOME. . here's her blog: http://nell-miniminis.blogspot.com/

More Minis Dollhouses
This is cool. I never knew they had a school for minis. I wish real school would have been this fun.

Luanne
I found this on Nell's blog- " While I'm finishing up the Christmas project, it seemed a good time to post a few pictures from past projects. This is a 1:12 scale version of my sales table that I made for a collector who made a wonderful room box of the Chicago International show a couple of years ago. The houses are 1:1728 scale - one twelfth of 144th scale. And no, they aren't furnished. One has to draw the line somewhere!
