Solveig
Hello fellow homeowners! ;) I am wondering if anyone has gathered photographs of finished Willowcrests on the web (as I did, but I lost all of them due to a computer malfunction)? I am at a point where I need to select colours for my Willowcrest! It's a very daunting task! I am considering a sort of beige/yellow kind of colour for the main structure and nougat/chocolate and raspberry for the trim (windows etc).. Any opinions as to how that would look? I wanted a minty/olive green for the house or possibly yellow, but since it will be in my conservatory which has yellow walls and is full of green plants it might be a bit much? As for shingles, I would really love to get some that are greenish or rust/burgundy. And preferably in stone. Are these available, and if so, where? Robin
First, hello and welcome to the forum!! Our Gallery has tons of pics of finished houses. Maybe not too many Willocrests but great ideas for color schemes. Take a look and have fun!
MiniMadWoman
I am considering a sort of beige/yellow kind of colour for the main structure and nougat/chocolate and raspberry for the trim (windows etc).. Any opinions as to how that would look? I think that sounds wonderful!! Why not collect some paint chips at the store and play with them? It might give you a better idea of what you're looking for, or it might give you ideas you hadn't thought of! BTW, welcome to the forum. I'm going to be starting on my Willowcrest in the next month or so and am in the same dillema, what to do . . . . oh, what to do?!! ;)

Ms. Mini
Thanks for your help all of you, and nutti that list of links was tremendously helpful, I've made a bookmarks folder to keep those in! Jenny, your work is wonderful, I'm so much looking forward to tracking your progress! Hi Solveig! thank you so much, hearing other peoples feedback on my house is always apperciated. How is yours coming along? have you decided on any colors yet? I think im going to keep mine true to the box color. For some reason I just see this house as a beautiful blue with white trims. haha i went crazy on my conventry cottage with very modern colors. dark purple and mint green and white trims! it deffinitly stands house! so on this one im looking for more of a victorian, older classic feel. i cant wait to see your progress
