My local miniature store has classes for making room boxes,they start at $800.00 to $1,000.00, me being a single mom of 2 just can't come up with that much. I think I would do the class if you can find a way. You would get a chance to meet other enthusiests of miniatures and make some new friends (and they may have all kinds of skills they could offer to show you for free).
