chylon
I am missing about 10 of the 2" siding pieces. I am wondeirng if I can make a smiliar item out of small wood fragments? It has the ridges in it, so stacking will be a bit of a problem. What have others done when they are missing products? I know the company is out of business, is there a company selling similar replacement parts?
texasbuilder
I may have the pieces you want but can't check at the moment. We have been hit with a major snow storm in Dallas and it is still snowing. Will check for the pieces in a little while.
genieDOLL
I am rehabbing a San Fran 557 and I needed to some match siding trim for missing windows. I bought it quite inexpensively from Hobby Builder's Supply www.miniatures.com Its thin but has the exact siding match. Might come thicker? I ordered the #7336 MDF 3/8" Lap siding 1" scale 10 sheets in pkg.
havanaholly
What if you glued the thinner lap material to a sheet of veneer cut to the size you need, to make the wall section thick enough to slide snugly into the longframe pieces?
