havanaholly
Gayle, I LOVE argiopes/ "writing" spiders! We used to have a lovely argiope aureata that lived in one of our bushes and whenever we were pruning we'd wait until she moved her web. Every AM she had a new "greeting" for us!lol
heidiiiii
Spiders make good art subjects How do you get them to stay still until the glue dries?? LOL I just had to say it. The only spiders that bother me are the ones that are touching me.
havanaholly
The only spiders that bother me are the ones that are touching me.Oh, you would have had a wonderful time paddling with us Saturday, then; because the creek was full of water there was a bit more current than usual and I kept getting distracted by the scenery & got swept into quite a few low-lying limbs & branches, and their occupants. Most of them simply dropped down on a line of silk from my hat brim & scuttled on off over the sides of my kayak, but one little gray furry spider smaller than the tip of my pinkie finger took off from my lower lip to my hand & as I blew it off it went for a swim!
