I finally figured pin hinging out when I did Paige's Cardinal House. I asked a million questions here and finally got it to work. I think it works better on some houses than others. The hard part with this house (the storybook) is that the spot where I needed the pin to run up from the foundation had a cross piece in the way. I had to move the hole for the pin a bit but it worked fine in the end. I didn't enter the contest, but I can't wait to see who wins. There are some terrific entries.
