pinkhare
I'm no where near ready to do this but I still can't wrap my head around it. I ordered my siding from greenleaf. Do I put the siding on and then the windows or do I do it the other way around ?
chesterfieldzoo
It depends on the look you want. I would recommend putting the windows on first, then the siding - but glue the fancy trim at the top of the windows on last over the siding. havanaholly
I've done it both ways. putting windows & trims on over the siding adds to the thickness which really interfered with some of the gingerbread trim the customer wanted, so now I lay the trim where it goes and trace around it, and then I butt the edges of the siding to the pencil lines and when the siding's done I install the trims.
